I am fortunate to be the founder and owner of The Yogi Place. I run the studio and teach many of our classes on the timetable, alongside our wonderful team of instructors.
Yoga began as my creative outlet alongside a full-time role in project management, and through its success it has since become my full-time passion.
After completing my teaching training in India, I have had the privilege to teaching group, private, and corporate sessions, as well as developing yoga teaching manuals and training fitness experts to teach worldwide working for big named brands.
I teach a variety of styles - including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Kundalini, Nidra, Dance Yoga, Partner Yoga and Family/Children's Yoga.
Whether you are a beginner or a long-time practitioner, my simple aim is for you to leave the class feeling refreshed, good about your body, and inspired to keep rolling out your mat.
Vanessa began practising yoga 7 years ago, her journey began with the intention of strengthening her core after having two children but turned into much more than that when she reaped the benefits that yoga had for not just her body but also her mind, helping her to deal with anxiety and a very overactive mind.
Vanessa is a certified 500-hour yoga instructor registered with Yoga Alliance International and a sound meditation teacher.
Vanessa loves teaching both Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga.
Vanessa has a passion for health and wellness and wants everyone to experience the benefits of yoga for the body, mind and soul.
